Privacy notice.

Information about how this static website works, updated on 28 October 2026.

1. Data controller and contact details

The website contact and controller of data received directly through the contact channels is Antonio Rinaldi, using the trading name Vieste Software House. You can write to antoniovieste@live.it. This website does not present Vieste Software House as a registered company.

2. Website visits and technical data

The website consists of static files: it does not include registration forms, user profiles, advertising, advertising pixels or analytics tools loaded by the page code. The hosting provider may log the IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser user agent and security events to deliver and protect the service. The legal basis may be legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and operation, within applicable limits. Retention periods, locations and processors depend on the configuration of the provider actually used.

The website is prepared for publication on Netlify; the provider may process technical data to deliver, protect and measure the service. Beta downloads are hosted on GitHub Releases, which handles transfers under its own privacy notice. Also consult GitHub’s privacy statement. This website does not individually track people who download the program.

3. Email communications

If you voluntarily write to antoniovieste@live.it, your email address, message content and any attachments are processed to respond to and manage your request. The legal basis may be steps requested by the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or legitimate interest in handling general communications and security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Contacting us is optional, but we cannot reply without contact details.

The mailbox is hosted by Microsoft Outlook.com under its own privacy information. The planned operational policy for support communications is deletion within 12 months of closure, except where obligations or documented needs to protect rights require otherwise; before publication, the controller must confirm that this procedure is actually applied.

4. Cookies and external resources

The website does not set profiling cookies or analytics tools. Beta files will be served by the selected distribution provider, which may handle aggregate counts. It does not load fonts, scripts or videos from third-party services. The provider may use technical technologies necessary for the service or security: see the Cookies page.

5. Data used by Sport Gauges DEMO

DEMO 2.0.2 processes hardware information and settings locally; according to the release documentation, telemetry submissions and online checks from the app are disabled. Any exported reports remain on the user’s PC and may contain technical details. Read the application-specific privacy notice [original document].

6. Data subject rights

Where applicable, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection by writing to antoniovieste@live.it. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent authority. No profiling or automated decisions are carried out through this website.

7. Updates

Last revision: 28 October 2026. This page must be checked again when hosting and the domain are activated and updated if forms, analytics, newsletters, download systems or new providers are introduced.
